Now hiring: we are hiring a garment machinist in Stillwater County, Montana. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus The role involves: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line Full-time, day shift.
