Semi-automatic welder wanted in Lancashire

Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Lancashire, England. The job is at a busy production line. The role involves: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Six days a week, one day off. £3,700 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
