Dumper truck operator — Macon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dumper truck operator in Macon County, North Carolina. The job is on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery Day to day you will read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; check for underground cables and services before digging; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; stockpile and spread material to the required levels. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
