Immediate opening: we are hiring a waitress in East Carroll Parish, Louisiana. The role involves: • Raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu • Upsell starters, desserts and beverages • Polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table Ideal candidate: • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems • Ability to work fast under pressure during peak service At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
