Domestic gas engineer — Grant County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Grant County, New Mexico. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Day to day you will fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
