Incoming goods inspector — Redcar and Cleveland

Immediate opening: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Redcar and Cleveland, England. Day to day you will record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Willing to work rotating and night shifts Full-time, day shift. £3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
