TIG welder — Minnehaha County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a TIG welder in Minnehaha County, South Dakota. Day to day you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
