Paint and prep technician wanted in Coventry

Now hiring: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Coventry, England. The role involves: • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
