Now hiring: we are hiring a finishing presser in Orumba North, Anambra State. The job is at a textile finishing unit. Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Your main tasks: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
