Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Macon County, Tennessee. Your main tasks: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Full-time with occasional weekends.
