Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Saline County, Arkansas. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day-to-day duties: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
