Insulation installer — City of Martinsville

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an insulation installer in City of Martinsville, Virginia. You will work on a construction site. On a typical shift you will carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Willing to travel between sites • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam Rotating shifts.
