Now hiring: gas pipeline fitter (Michigan)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Oscoda County, Michigan. The job is in a gas distribution network. Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders On the job you will handle: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation 3+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
