Join our team: we are hiring a punch press operator in District of Rutland, England. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
