Production operative wanted in Broome County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a production operative in Broome County, New York. You should have: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges The role involves: • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
