Vacancy available: semi-automatic welder (Missouri)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Cass County, Missouri. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium On a typical shift you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. 2+ years on the tools preferred. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
