Immediate opening: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in San Mateo County, California. You will work at a landscaping company. On the job you will handle: • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters What we are looking for: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Meals and transport allowance provided.
