Now hiring: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Garfield County, Washington. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day to day you will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
