Day-to-day duties: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
