Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Todd County, Kentucky. You will be based at an automobile body shop. You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime The role involves clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness.
