What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Day-to-day duties: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
