Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Henry County, Iowa. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings The role involves: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits.
