Health and safety supervisor • Barde, Yobe State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Barde, Yobe State. Ideal candidate: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Your main tasks: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
