Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Panola County, Mississippi. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards On a typical shift you will replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
