Argon welder — Taylor County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Taylor County, Iowa. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. On the job you will handle: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
