Powder coater — Powell County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coater in Powell County, Montana. You will work at a fabrication and coating plant. Day to day you will pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes 2+ years on the tools preferred.
