Great opportunity: power press operator (Maryland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a power press operator in Caroline County, Maryland. You will work on the press shop floor. Day to day you will record output and downtime on the production sheet; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading 5+ years on the tools preferred.
