Great opportunity: horticulturist (Northern Ireland)

Now hiring: we are hiring a horticulturist in Fermanagh and Omagh, Northern Ireland. You will work on the grounds of a hotel resort. The role involves: • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance £2,950 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
