Join our team: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Costilla County, Colorado. You will work at a garment factory. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment On a typical shift you will give each garment a final press before packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board.
