We are recruiting: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Allen County, Indiana. You will work on a high-rise building project. Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Day-to-day duties: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors Full-time with occasional weekends.
