Argon welder wanted in Iowa County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Iowa County, Iowa. You will be based on a structural steel site. The role involves grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Rotating shifts.
