We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Charlotte County, Virginia. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred 1+ years on the tools preferred.
