Now hiring: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Union County, North Carolina. You will work at an accident repair centre. The role involves mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun. Requirements: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
