Refrigeration technician — Amherst County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Amherst County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil Requirements: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Valid driving licence for field call-outs 3+ years on the tools preferred. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
