QC inspector wanted in Schoharie County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a QC inspector in Schoharie County, New York. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Day to day you will inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
