We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Craighead County, Arkansas. Day-to-day duties: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
