Tube and fitting scaffolder — DeSoto County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tube and fitting scaffolder in DeSoto County, Florida. You will be based on a residential housing development. On a typical shift you will fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
