Sample machinist • Yancey County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sample machinist in Yancey County, North Carolina. You will work on an export house sewing floor. The role involves: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes What we are looking for: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Full-time with occasional weekends.
