Immediate opening: quality control inspector (North Carolina)

Join our team: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Halifax County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges 2+ years on the tools preferred.
