Great opportunity: metal caster (West Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a metal caster in Marshall County, West Virginia. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. The role involves: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
