Great opportunity: port container crane operator (Georgia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Upson County, Georgia. Day-to-day duties: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
