Restoration bricklayer • Crisp County, Georgia

Join our team: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Crisp County, Georgia. The role involves: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
