Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Barry County, Michigan. You will work on a high-rise construction site. The role involves wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
