Immediate opening: milling machine operator (North Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Rutherford County, North Carolina. The job is at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Day to day you will hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence.
