Shuttering charge hand — Jenkins County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Jenkins County, Georgia. You will be based on a busy high-rise construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting Requirements: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Full-time with occasional weekends.
