Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass cutter in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. The job is on a construction site. The role involves grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points. Ideal candidate: • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders Meals and transport allowance provided.
