Immediate opening: lift installation engineer (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Derby, England. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. You will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Part-time with flexible hours.
