MIG/MAG welder • Obot Akara, Akwa Ibom State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Obot Akara, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
