Great opportunity: we are hiring a moulder in Borough of Halton, England. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling On a typical shift you will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces.
