Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Marlboro County, South Carolina. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine On a typical shift you will glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; take site measurements of openings before fabrication. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
